Description:
For Sale is an
Antique Metal Table Top Opening Case for
Cigarettes,
Tobacco, Lighters, Playing Cards and all types of items.
Most likely its original intent is those items though.  This was a personalized Christmas Present from the
ATHENS TABLE & MANUFACTURING CO.
of Athens, Tennessee and is
Dated 1925
.   As you can see, it has a name placard on top of "
H.C. Greenleaf".
With a little prying it could be removed but I'm afraid to break anything if I try.  This case is all metal...most likely thick aluminum/thin steel if I had to guess.    It opens on both sides revealing different size compartments that hold all types of items conveniently.   One compartment even slides out.  This advertising item measures 6.5"W x 3.5"D x 3.5"T and Weighs 1.8 Pounds.   In the last photo, I am trying to show what appears to me as something else written on the underside of the box.  Perhaps it is the actual maker of the metal whose name was covered up by the black paint.  It is so small that I can't make it out.  I am sure my photos will best further describe this item.

On a scale of 1 - 10 (Ten being New in Package Only), I can confidently grade this item's condition to be a
solid 8.
Overall and Especially for being nearly 100 Years Old, this Collectible Advertising Promotional Christmas Gift is in

No Less than 90% Immaculate with Absolutely ZERO Dents/Dings.
At worst you will find some minor "shelf" wear simply from being in storage for decades.  Some of the black paint is slightly chipped up but nothing serious as you can see.  My photos are an accurate depiction of this item's
