Comes as shown in the photos. There is some oxidation on the brass that could be polished if so desired. There are a few tiny nicks on the inner glass. The base locks into the top securely. The wick adjustment knob turns smoothly, but the wick only moves a littler bit, which I think means it will need a new wick installed soon.
