Antique Eli Griffith & Son Brass Ships/Nautical Lantern
This is a very well built lantern, as were all of Eli Griffith's products.  This lantern has seen use, as evidenced by tarnishing, small dents, surface rust spotting (on tin portions), and some damage as follows:  missing the side panel "keyhole" cover.  One small soldered repair on sliding outer panel.  Replaced glass front (appears to be hot-glued in place).  Missing bottom brass nut.  Might have originally had one more internal sliding panel to block the top exhaust, but not sure about this.  Measures 13" tall x 5" wide x 4 1/4" deep.
