Antique Boat Signal Lantern Lamp Nautical 8.5" oil wick kerosene fuel pot

This is an Antique Boat Signal Lantern.
Size is 8.5 inches tall.
The maker is unknown.
I am unsure of the age. It appears to be very old.
Condition is fairly good with normal indications of age related wear such as surface scratches and rust.  The glass is clear with no hazing.
The door with the glass lens opens and closes - metal closure works. Hinges are intact but top hinge is not as stable as bottom hinge, which causes door to lean when opened.
Spring loaded shutter works but does not stay closed on its own accord. Lantern fuel pot is intact, including wick. Stamped on fuel pot: P&A mfg. Co. Made in USA. Waterbury, Conn.
Back handles and clip are intact. Handles move freely.
Front glass lens is NOT chipped, cracked or broken.
