Antique Vintage Brass Gimbal Ship Whale Oil Lamp with Lid and Decorative Finger Handle
I am not sure of the exact age on this piece (Antique, Vintage). Other than some aged dust and dullness to the brass I find no damage. I have not attempted to polish or clean this. I am able to disassemble in (photo 12) and retighten it back up. Still has some wick left to it (photo 10). I can see some knife like line marks on the handle (perhaps that can help someone with more knowledge on how it was made ~ photo 10). The little lid on the top tilts back .
I find no maker name on it.
Measures 7" tall. Weighs 1 pound 3 ounces (prior to packaging)
