Up for sale is an Antique Emory & Douglass Co Hilton-On-Tyne Brass Ship Nautical Lantern VERY COOL!!!  This is a very cool antique brass ship's lantern, and this one has THE patina and look to it you only get from actually being used on a ship.  The piece is in good condition throughout, with that beautiful verdigris patina to the piece which I have not touched up at all other than to just clean a little and remove some dust or buildup.  The piece could use a more deep cleaning.  The door hinge works just fine with no issues.  The biggest hurdle is the gas insert piece has the top stuck down as well as the screw adjuster for the wick stuck in place and needs to be cleaned out.  Overall I think this would be easy to restore to full working condition, I just know some collector's prefer exactly as it is so I have not done any serious work to this piece.
The lantern measures in with a base of about 6" by 6", and at 14 1/2" tall.  It weighs in at 5 pounds, 3.3 ounces total.
