A lovely example of the Harker Pottery from the 1930's- 80 or so years old. Has considerable crazing, a small chip on the spout and under side of the lid, no cracks were apparent. 1930s to early 1950s
Main colors: blue, pink and some yellow.
The Harker Pottery Co., of East Liverpool, Ohio and later Chester, West Virginia, is commonly called, “Oldest Pottery in America.” It started in a log cabin in 1840 by Benjamin Harker, and remained on its original site for ninety-one years.
The Jeanette Glass Co. bought Harker Co. and closed it down in March, 1972.
