Description

Here we have a terrific antique ships lantern made by Sherwoods, Birmingham England featuring large onion shaped globe, solid copper and brass construction, original working burner and nickel plated bail. Great original condition. Wonderful natural patina with verdigris highlights! Measures 12" tall from it's base to the top of the cap, (add 6-1/2" for the handle) x  9-1/2" in diameter at the widest point. C.1930's
