Description
Up for bid is a Mid-Century (1950’s) creamer and sugar bowl with lid made in the USA by Harker Pottery in the retired Corinthian pattern. They are dark teal green in color with a white Gadroon edging (Harker Pottery utilized the Pate-Sur-Pate porcelain decoration method to achieve the white rope-like edging on their Corinthian dinnerware). The creamer is approximately 5 ½” long (including the handle) x 3 ¾” wide x 2 ¾” tall and holds 8 ounces. The sugar bowl is approximately 5 ¾” long (including the handles) x 4 ¼” in diameter x 2 ½” tall without the lid (and 3 ¾” tall with the lid in place). The creamer is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing; the sugar has a crack extending from the rim. It is safe and the crack does not affect the overall beauty or use. They are marked on the bottom “Harker – Pate Sur Pate – Ware – Pottery Est. 1840.”TOS (Terms of Sale):
