This unique and interesting Noah's Ark is stenciled on a piece of slate that is part of a roofing tile taken from an old New Orleans home. This handcrafted slate plaque is made by Plain Jane. A part of the colorful past is preserved in this hand-cut and stenciled plaque. The uneven surface of this slate shows years of exposure to Louisiana weather. The plate holder I show with some of the pictures is not included. The ark shows bears, giraffes and a dove with a twig. Can you imagine how exciting that was when the dove came back with vegetation? "May the Lord Bless you and Keep you" is from Numbers 6:24 in the Bible. How appropriate! This measures approximately 9" L x 7" H.
