Offered is thisRare Early Large Sun Valve Regulated AGA Navigational Beacon
in unrestored condition.
Crowned by a
SUN VALVE
set on this heavily constructed brass beacon, reflects the brilliance of
AGA
pioneer Gustaf Dalen's revolutionary design of lighthouse technology which won him a Nobel Prize in Physics in 1912 and put
AGA
on the chart.
A crowning achievement, the Sun Valve was credited with saving 94% of gas to power beacons.

The
Sun Valve
is centrally stationed, and appears to be in remarkably good original condition as pictured, although untested by us.
Beacon housing is also in good condition, and without repairs.
Please note: glass with some surface chips and apparent bullet holes, as pictured. The flashing apparatus is not included as found, but are available online; or the Beacon can be electrified for indoor display. Replacement glass can also be found online.
