Rare Vintage Nippon Sento Red Light 583 Copper Brass Electric Maritime Lamp 17".
For sale is an incredibly rare and beautiful Nippon Sento Co. Ltd. electric ship lantern made in Osaka, Japan. It dates to the earlier part of the mid 20th century.
The model number is 583 Red Light. The original red glass globe was made by Iwaki Glass and stamped with a very early makers mark of the company.
It is quite large and measures 17 inches from the top of the handle. The diameter at the base is approximately 10 inches. It is functional as seen in the photo.
