    Description

What We have here is a pottery vase made in japan around 1910. It is called Satsuma pottery based on the old name of the era were it was made ( Hyūga on the isle Kyūshū ). Vase is made into a lamp base by drilling a hole in it. The vase is hand painted and that is done nicely. The really fine painted pieces ( sometimes with one hair brush ) can be very expensive.
    Measures 15 x 8 weighs 6 lbs.
