Traditional Half Lamp Shade Parchment w/Gold and Blue Trim Uno Fitter...
The lamp shade is between 30-40 years old.
I'm believe the shade is made of parchment attached to some heat-resistant type plastic...
The actual color is darker than it appears
in most of the photos, which were taken with natural light streaming from behind - it looks like the color of parchment that you see in antique books.  The pic that comes closest to the actual color is the 3rd pic.
Aside from the color, which I'm assuming has darkened with time, there are some brown spots here and there across the top of the shade (please magnify pics # 1, 2, 3, 5, & 6) and the bottom edge of the shade has a 1/2-inch-high discoloration which I can't even begin to imagine what would have caused it.  (You'll be able to see it in nearly all the pics.)
You can also see that there is rust on the UNO fitter, but the lampshade is strongly attached to the wire frame, which is white, strong, and unbendable.
The blue and gold trim around the shade is also securely attached; I can't find any issues with it.
Measurements:
Top to bottom, middle of the shade: a little over 9.5"
Top to bottom, sides: 7.5"
Width across the bottom: 15.5"
Depth i.e. if the shade was a complete circle, this would be the radius (distance from the center): 4.5"
Distance between the light bulb and the shade:  approx. 2"
If you are worried about the heat from a light bulb, you might want to consider an LED bulb which tends to be brighter and cooler.
