t is definitely a navy design which is validated by the catalogue lettering. It is navigation light red on port side of bridge, green on stbd side of bridge. Or it is an aircraft warning used in port only and mounted at the top of a mast (red to be same as what is used on buildings and towers). The material is bronze for ani-corrosion and they are heavy; hence the ring on the top for lifting the entire unit or not dropping the cover on someone below.
