  • Condition: This light is made of galvanize metal and is corroded some. The Red Glass Globe is about 8 1/2 inches in diameter with hole in top and bottom. I am not sure if this is a marine light or railroad. One of the wires around globe has come loose. It just needs to be tacked. It does have a handle on top. SEE PICTURES

    Vintage Rare Red J.Barre & Co. Ships Nautical Marine 19 1/2" Onion Lamp Galvanized
    This lamp is in fair condition.  The galvanize is
    corroded
    in places.  The ring that is in the worst condition I don't know where it goes.  The very top or bottom I'm not sure which is corroded.  It has a handle on the bottom.  From my research this is a marine lamp but it may be a railroad light.  J. Barre & Co name is on a brass plaque on it.  See Pictures.
